Lot for Olimpic games

Lot for Olimpic games was held for handball representation. You could say that lot was in favor, but… that shall be seen after outcome of game.

Groups:
Handball – men representation:
Group A: Poland, France, Croatia, China, Spain, Brasil
Group B: Germany, Denmark, Russia, South Corea, Island, Egypt

Women representation:
Group A: Norway, Romania, France, China, Angola, Kazakstan
Group B: Russia, Germany, Hungary, South Corea, Sweden, Brasil

Our women handball representation goes to European Championship

After the victory of our team over Montenegro with 31:23 in Kutina, our players have well deserved their place at European Championship in Macedonia. Through entire game Croatian player dominated and Andrea Penezic (with 9 goals) and Ivana Jelicic (with 13 defenses) standed out.

We're going to Olimpics!

As we've all predicted – there were no surprises and Croatia with great game on qualification tournament in Zadar has won representation of Russia with 26:24. Our handball team held entire game in their hands and finished half-time with result 15:13. Džomba and Vori were most successful with 5 goals each, and of course goal-keepers with altogether 14 defenses. This is the second tournament victory of Croatian handball representation and sure departure for Olimpic games in Beijing. Game between Russia and Japan is following which will decide on second representation going to Olimpics. Congratulations to Croatian handball team!
